Product Info (provided by Educents): This package contains the world’s leading book-based language program for kids in a simple, easy-to-learn-from picture book format. Each book includes “read-aloud audio”, so that you can hear the books read to you in both languages. Studies have shown that exposure to books is more important and effective than TV, interactive games, and workbooks. These books are ingeniously ingrained with the most-used vocabulary words, phrases, and grammatical situations.  Even if you don’t know Spanish, BookLingual books are specially designed to help you coach your child to success, and you will be learning along with them!

Review: This year for school we’re going to be working on Spanish so I was excited to have the chance to review the BookLingual – Spanish program. I like that they make the books available to read offline, super handy for “on-the-go” learning. Admittedly, it took me a little bit to figure out just how to do that after I downloaded the files but it’s really not that hard if you read the directions they have on the website. They have the books available for Apple devices, Android devices, and Mac/PC which is also nice. The kids and I sat down to look at one of the Level 1 books, “Can You Guess What I Am?”, and they enjoyed the pictures and the fact that the book was read to them in both English and Spanish. The comprehension games at the end of the story were great too.

I am excited to put these books to use during the school year and see how long it takes the kids to get through all three levels. I would encourage anyone who wants to teach their children Spanish, even if you don’t know the language, to get BookLingual -Spanish and see how well they learn. Not only will your kids learn, but you will too!
